PSA to launch Free2Move Lease contract hire offer in the UK, France from January 2017

December 23, 2016

PSA has launched a business unit called Free2Move Lease to offer contract hire services. It launches in France and the UK from 1 January 2017, before rolling out across all of Europe between 2017 and 2018.

Head of Free2Move Lease, Philippe Belorgey, said to Fleet Europe: ‘ We had a fragmented organisation around contract hire within PSA, so we want to […] join up all resources around contract hire in one organisation that is called Free2Move Lease.’

He added: ‘The added value […] compared to [other] lease offers that you can find on the market is that we will be integrating that lease business model within the PSA Group.

‘[…] We will enjoy all the advantages of being within the organisation of a car manufacturer. We will enjoy the brands, the car manufacturer resources in terms of sales, in terms of field resources – […] boots on the ground.

‘So we will join up the best of both worlds, the leasing world and the car manufacturers world.’

Free2Move Lease is part of Free2Move, the new mobility brand of PSA.
