PSA Group H1 2016 sales in Europe break one million barrier

PSA Group new vehicle sales rose 7.4% in Europe to 1,056,000 units during H1 2016.

Peugeot sales for cars and vans climbed 7.9% to 601,000 units, led mainly by the Peugeot 2008 and Partner. Citroën delivered its best sales performance for five years, with a 7.2% increase in deliveries to 414,000 units, powered by strong sales of the C4 Picasso. Sales for the DS brand rose 0.7% to 40,900 units.
